I remember the moment when I qualified as a manager, when someone sat across the table and said to me: “You’re ready to be a manager.” That’s something I won’t forget in a hurry and it’s what gets me out of bed in the morning, knowing that each day I have the opportunity to grow as a manager and as a person.
The great thing about Enterprise is that you do everything. There are so many different kind of jobs in a company like this that you can try out different roles and if there’s one particular part of the group that you’re suited to, you’ll eventually find it. That’s why I’d say to someone who’s thinking about joining Enterprise, ‘stop thinking about it and just do it.’ I’ve been here two years and although I interviewed for a lot of different companies, joining Enterprise felt like the right ‘fit’ for me. Looking back, it was the best decision I’ve ever made and in five years, who knows? Maybe I’ll be managing five, six or seven branches…
